Banca Transilvania is providing Globalworth with a financing of almost EUR 40 million for the development of the fourth office building in the Green Court complex in Bucharest, one of the landmarks of the business area in the north of the capital, the credit institution announced.

The new building will integrate state-of-the-art technologies and advanced energy efficiency solutions, contributing to raising the standards of the Bucharest office market. The project, whose construction started in the last quarter of last year, will add 16,500 square meters of office space, spread over three underground levels, ground floor and 11 floors, and is expected to be completed in 2027.

Green Court is a premium LEED Platinum certified office building complex with high standards of sustainability and energy efficiency. The complex comprises three completed buildings (A, B and C) with a total area of over 54,300 square meters. The whole complex is financed by Banca Transilvania, with a total amount of over 95 million euro.

„The expansion of the Green Court project reflects the natural evolution of an office development that has already established itself as a landmark in the business area north of the capital. The financing provided by Banca Transilvania supports the realization of a high-tech, efficient and strategically located work center in Bucharest. The project is being developed according to the highest standards of sustainability and operational efficiency, confirming the confidence in a development that continues to attract companies and contribute to the evolution of the office market”, says Mihai Zaharia, Head of Investments Romania and Group Capital Markets Director, Globalworth.

„We are pleased to continue the strong partnership we have with Globalworth, a developer with a strong vision. The new project aligns with our bank's direction to support responsible investments and developments with positive community impact. It is a joint contribution to the creation of modern office spaces, adapted to today's and tomorrow's companies, but also to the growth of a more modern Bucharest, more prepared for the business environment”, adds Cosmin Călin, Senior Executive Director Large Companies, Structured Finance and Factoring, Banca Transilvania.

Globalworth is the leader in the Romanian office market and one of the largest office investors in Central and Eastern Europe (CEE). The company is active in Romania and Poland and focuses on the acquisition, development and management of premium commercial assets, especially in the office building segment.
