The pre-filled Unique Declaration and the% bonus for individuals, when correct, are two concrete measures to digitize and simplify interaction with the National Agency for Fiscal Administration (ANAF), stated the Minister of Finance, Alexandru Nazare, on Wednesday, in a Facebook post.
„The pre-filled Unified Declaration and a% bonus for individuals are two concrete measures for digitalization and simplification of interaction with ANAF. The Unified Declaration (212) is now pre-filled with fiscal data available in the Fiscal Administration's system, including income reported by third parties. Authorized individuals, those who obtain income from rent or royalties, only need to verify the information, correct it if necessary, and submit the declaration.” wrote the minister, according to Agerpres.
This explained that for Virtual Private Space users with a username and password, the data is automatically filled in directly on the form.
Instead, for users who authenticate with a digital certificate, reports with pre-filled tax data are available in the „Messages” section of SPV, before submitting the declaration.
Nazare believes that the simplified approach through digitalization brings a series of direct benefits, such as: reducing the time needed to complete the declaration, decreasing the risk of errors, and increasing transparency in the taxpayer-tax administration relationship.
The minister also mentioned that April 15, 2026, is the deadline for submitting and paying income tax, with a 3% bonus for everyone who meets this deadline, and May 25, 2026, is the general deadline for submitting the Single Declaration (form 212).
„Simplifying taxpayer interaction with the tax administration remains a priority. Every digital tool we implement must produce tangible results: less bureaucracy, clearer procedures, and a more efficient relationship between the state and its citizens.”, the Minister of Finance concluded his post.
