Primăra Tulcea has finalized the award of an important contract for the modernization of its passenger transport fleet, through the purchase of electric buses and charging stations, within the project SMIS code 130588, financed by POR/2019/3/3.2//3/ITI, writes Ziua de Constanța.
The contract has been awarded to BMC Truck & Bus SA on February 13, 2023, the total value is 38,637,225 lei.
The project includes the purchase of: 20 electric buses adapted for hilly conditions, 20 slow charging stations, 5 fast charging stations.
Electric buses shall have a minimum carrying capacity of 20 standing passengers. Tenders not meeting the minimum requirement of the tender specifications will be declared non-compliant. The minimum number of additional seats for standing passengers that will be scored is 1 seat and the maximum number is 20. Any tender with more than 20 additional seats will not be awarded additional points.
Electric buses shall have a minimum seating capacity of 20 persons. Tenders not meeting the minimum requirement of the tender specifications will be declared non-compliant. The minimum number of additional seats for passengers carried in seats that will be scored is 1 seat and the maximum number is 8. Any tender with a number of additional seats per seat greater than 8 will not be awarded additional points.
The number of doors and their overall width will influence the amount of time required for passenger flow/inflow, with significant importance especially during peak hours. The bodywork shall be fitted with a minimum of 2 access doors, located on the right hand side of the electric buses, of which one double door with a minimum width of 1200 mm and one single door with a minimum width of 650 mm, totaling a boarding/ alighting space width of 1850 mm. Tenders which do not comply with the minimum requirement of the specification will be declared non-compliant.
