Safetech Innovations, a Romanian cybersecurity company listed on the Bucharest Stock Exchange, with offices in Bucharest, London, Abu Dhabi, and Riyadh, reports, on a consolidated basis, revenue of 12.1 million lei in the first quarter of 2026, up 291% compared to the same period last year, an operating profit of 4.4 million lei, up 381% year-over-year, and a net profit of 3.6 million lei, an increase of 431% compared to Q1 2025.

„The first quarter results reflect both the growth in commercial activity and the effects of measures implemented in recent quarters to consolidate operational efficiency and develop recurring activities. The positive trend was supported by the progress of cybersecurity solutions implementation projects and the development of recurring services, with both business lines contributing equally to the revenue structure. In parallel, international activity continues to grow, and the optimization measures implemented at Safetech UK have contributed to reducing losses and improving operational performance. The current context remains favorable for the cybersecurity industry, both locally and in Europe, and the ongoing recurring contracts and opportunities generated by international projects provide us with visibility for continuing a positive development pace in 2026,” stated Victor Gânsac, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Safetech Innovations (photo).

On an individual basis, revenue amounted to 12 million lei in the first three months of 2026, up 29% compared to the same period of the previous year, a trend driven both by the increase in projects implementing cybersecurity solutions and by the growth of recurring cybersecurity services. The two business lines contributed equally to revenue, each accounting for approximately 50% of the total. Individual net profit reached 3.9 million lei, up 27% compared to Q1 2025.

„We continue to pursue balanced development, based on the growth of recurring activities, the consolidation of our external presence, and the maintenance of an efficient operational structure. In Q1 2026, we continued investing in the development of our own cybersecurity solutions and in expanding the commercial and technical capabilities needed to support ongoing projects. At the same time, the measures implemented at Safetech UK have started to generate visible results, both through the reduction of operational costs and the attraction of new clients,” added Ionuț Georgescu, CEO of Safetech Innovations.

In Q1 2026, the UK entity, Safetech UK, generated revenues of approximately 152 thousand RON and attracted three new clients, primarily for its cybersecurity services. At the same time, measures implemented to optimize operations and reduce operational costs contributed to a decrease in the subsidiary's loss to approximately 250 thousand RON in the first quarter. Preliminary data available to date, along with the expansion of the client base and the consolidation of commercial activities, indicate favorable prospects for the full recovery of this loss in Q2 2026, so that the UK subsidiary will close the first semester of the year with a profit.

Regarding international activity, Safetech Innovations continues the development of external projects and partnerships, including within the European Commission's FREIA framework agreement, which represents an important element in supporting future revenues. At the same time, the company continues its dialogue and collaborations with partners from Europe, the Middle East, and other external markets, in a context where increasing investments in cybersecurity at the European and international level generate additional opportunities for business development.

The data available so far indicates favorable prospects for 2026, which is shaping up to be a year with favorable growth prospects for the company. Revenues are supported by recurring contracts and expansion into foreign markets. These elements provide a solid foundation for maintaining the pace of development, even in an economic environment characterized by volatility and investment caution.

For the second quarter of 2026, management estimates the continuation of the positive trend and growth at a similar rate to the first quarter. The current project portfolio, along with the visibility provided by ongoing international contracts, creates the conditions for delivering consistent results.

Safetech Innovations is listed on the Main Market of the Bucharest Stock Exchange as of February 6, 2023, trading under the symbol SAFE.
