The City Hall of Sector 1, in partnership with the operator EVconnect have installed 9 electric car charging stations in seven points. In all, 18 cars can be charged simultaneously. The tariff is 1.59 lei/kWh (VAT included), and payment is only by card in the voltrelli app, PS1 announced on Facebook, PS1 announced on Facebook.
The 9 charging stations are the first stage of a larger program to develop the infrastructure for electric vehicles in Sector 1. The City Hall is currently working on a feasibility study to implement around 300 charging stations throughout the sector.
”In order to ensure access for all users, occupying the parking space intended for the charging station without initiating a charging session or without connecting the power cable within 10 minutes of stopping the vehicle is considered a contravention. This is punishable by a fine of between 500 and 1,000 lei for individuals and between 1,000 and 1,500 lei for legal entities, and may also be subject to the technical-administrative measure of vehicle removal by the Sector 1 Local Police”, the PS1 press release also states.
