Matricia Solutions announces the launch of Matricia Business Academy, an intensive business education program designed to develop essential skills for young people in a context where artificial intelligence is fundamentally changing how we work, think, and make decisions. The program will begin on May 5th, and registration is open until April 30th.

The academy takes place over two months and includes 16 sessions held twice a week, on Tuesday and Friday afternoons. The program is open to high school students, university students of any major, as well as recent graduates who have recently entered or are about to enter the job market. The program structure combines an applied theoretical component, delivered during Tuesday sessions, with a practical component, held on Fridays, where participants work in teams to solve case studies and present their solutions in a format close to the reality of the professional environment.

Matricia Business Academy proposes an integrated approach to business education, where concepts from marketing, finance, strategy, organizational psychology, sociology, and economics are used as complementary perspectives for understanding issues. The emphasis is not on memorizing theory, but on developing analytical skills, formulating relevant questions, and building well-founded solutions, even in situations where information is incomplete.

Business education built on understanding and initiative

The program is designed to develop essential 21st-century skills, ranging from analytical thinking and solving ambiguous problems to teamwork, organization, resilience, and the ability to integrate feedback. At the same time, participants will learn how to use artificial intelligence effectively, understanding both its potential and its limitations.

In this endeavor, Matricia Business Academy also brings together partners from the business world who actively contribute to the development of future leaders, bringing applied industry perspectives.

„We joined our partner Matricia in the Business Academy project because we understand that new generations of managers need different types of information and skills to manage truly difficult projects. We live in a world of constant change, and managers must be equipped to make the right decisions in uncertainty, see problems from multiple perspectives, and collaborate in increasingly diverse teams,” said Adrian Florea, Executive Director, Concelex.

„In a world where artificial intelligence can generate answers to almost any question, two things truly make a difference: deep understanding and willpower. This understanding comes from overlapping multiple perspectives and the ability to ask the right questions, while willpower means the desire to build and see things through to the end. Matricia Business Academy is built precisely around these two concepts, because they will be the difference between those who will use technology as a tool and those who will become dependent on it.,”said Andrei Negulescu, Strategic Digitalisation Manager at Matricia Solutions and program coordinator.

The Association for Values in Education (AVE), an organization that supports leadership development and values-based culture in Romania's education system and a partner of Matricia Solutions in this initiative, emphasizes the importance of such a program:

„At AVE, we believe that the future already exists in every child — what is often missing is the context in which this potential becomes real competence. Matricia Business Academy builds precisely this context: analytical thinking, initiative, resilience, the ability to act even in the absence of certainty. These are the life skills that formal schooling does not yet systematically deliver, although today's youth need them before entering the job market. We support this initiative because it contributes directly to the destiny we are writing together: leadership in every school, values in every community, a future in every child.” declared Simona Pavelescu, Executive Director, Association for Values in Education (AVE).

A distinctive element of the academy is the emphasis on intergenerational connection. Within the program, an event will be organized where participants and their parents will discuss business, decisions, and professional experiences, using the framework provided by the course to build a real intergenerational dialogue. At the end of the program, participants will take part in a presentation event, where they will present their solutions for a final case to business leaders, in a context that encourages both performance and professional interaction.
