Diversinst, a Romanian engineering firm with over 30 years of experience in the design and construction of natural gas distribution systems, municipal water and sewer infrastructure, and other related facilities, ended 2025 with improved financial and operational results, driven by the expansion of its project portfolio, the consolidation of its operations nationwide, and continued investments in the development of operational capacity. The core business—the design and construction of natural gas distribution systems—continued to generate approximately 80% of the company’s revenue, while approximately 60% of turnover came from commercial contracts with real estate developers, industrial companies, and other private clients.

„For Diversinst, 2025 marked both operational growth and the consolidation of our role in infrastructure projects that have a direct impact on communities. We significantly expanded the volume of work performed, continued investing in team development and process efficiency, and solidified our position among the top 10 companies nationwide, with an increase of over 170% in the kilometers of network built for all types of installations. Diversinst’s strategy remains to consolidate its core business—the design and construction of natural gas distribution networks—while simultaneously developing complementary sectors, such as water networks, sewer systems, and irrigation systems. At the same time, the company already manages over 90% of the activities necessary for the operation of a distribution system, from design and construction to maintenance and repairs, and the transition to the role of network operator represents a natural step in the company’s development,” says Ionuț Claudiu Ștefan – General Manager, Diversinst.

In 2025, Diversinst achieved a turnover of approximately 182 million lei, an increase of over 40% compared to the previous year, while operating revenue exceeded 206 million lei, marking an increase of over 52% compared to 2024. The growth in operating income was driven by business expansion through the opening of new construction sites and the streamlining of operational processes.

For 2026, Diversinst aims to maintain its growth momentum and strengthen its presence in national infrastructure projects, with an estimated revenue growth of approximately 10%. The company’s medium-term objective is to rank among the top 5 companies in the sector by revenue, supported by participation in public and private projects, as well as investments in team development, digitalization, and sustainability.

As association leader, Diversinst coordinates projects in advanced stages of execution concerning the establishment and expansion of intelligent natural gas distribution systems in Olt, Vâlcea, Dolj, Vrancea, and Giurgiu counties, as well as sewage systems in Dolj and Călărași counties, serving over 50,000 inhabitants.

In 2025, Diversinst published its first sustainability report, based on a materiality analysis and management-level consultation and feedback processes. At the same time, the company began conducting ESG assessments of relevant suppliers, a process that will be gradually expanded in the coming period. For its performance in the areas of sustainability and ESG governance, Diversinst received the EcoVadis Silver Medal in 2026. This certification ranks the company among the top 15% of companies evaluated globally.

Diversinst is a top Romanian entrepreneurial company with over 30 years of experience in the design and execution of natural gas distribution systems as its main line of business, as well as in utility works for water and sewage and other related installations.

The company Diversinst was founded by the Ștefan family in 1992. Starting in 2007, the management was taken over by Ionuț Ștefan, currently the company's General Manager. Diversinst has a vast portfolio of projects in the private and public sectors, at the national level, with over 2,000 km of natural gas pipelines and over 20,000 natural gas service connections installed (since its establishment).

With over 150 employees, Diversinst has a proven track record of delivering efficient, quality projects for over 50 clients across various industries: Engie Romania – Distrigaz Sud Rețele; Megaconstruct – gas networks; Rockwool (basalt wool factory in Ariceștii Rahtivani, Prahova) – external networks; Clariant (bioethanol plant-Podari, Dolj) – external networks (water, gas, fire); Alro Slatina – natural gas usage systems modifications; Auchan Romania; OMV Petrom – natural gas pipeline relocation; Ruris Impex – fire protection systems; Elpreco – networks; Romgaz; Dedeman; Transelectrica – maintenance, gas systems; Bekaert Slatina – natural gas usage systems.
