Starting Thursday, Romanian entrepreneurs have access to the official online platform of the SME Eco-Tech program. They can create accounts with a username and password to apply for SME funding, supported by Swiss funds, starting May 26, 2026, according to StartUpCafe.
For this purpose, the electronic platform https://sme-ecotech.gov.ro „will be accessible, only for this stage, starting today, 05.21.2026, and will remain open until the end of the submission period,” MEDAT points out.
The submission period for the legal entities (SME) funding application forms will be open and active from May 26, 2026, 10:00 AM to June 24, 2026, 8:00 PM. Funding is allocated on a first-come, first-served basis.
