Joi, 16 aprilie 2026, în deschiderea ședinței, valoarea de piață a Hidroelectrica a trecut de pragul de 70 miliarde lei, ajungând chiar la 72,4 miliarde lei la maximul din primele minute de tranzacționare, ceea ce reprezintă un record absolut pentru BVB, a anunțat compania. Aprecierile consistente au survenit pe fondul planurilor ambițioase de investiții ale companiei, coroborat cu consolidarea poziției de cel mai mare producător și furnizor de electricitate din România, concomitent cu creșterea focusului pe eficientizarea activității de trading. Evoluția remarcabilă de la începutul anului, respectiv un randament de aproape 30%, cu circa 10 puncte procentuale peste media indicelui BET, confirmă faptul că „vocea pieței” este relevantă pentru Hidroelectrica.

If on the April 15, 2026 meeting Hidroelectrica shares approached the market capitalization threshold of 70 billion lei, corresponding to a stock price of 155.60 lei, without reaching it, in today's meeting this level was surpassed from the very beginning of trading. Subsequently, the price continued to rise to a high of 161 lei around 10:36 AM, which brought the company's market capitalization to over 72.4 billion lei, a new record for the Bucharest Stock Exchange.
After the first hour, the stock was trading around the 160 lei level, corresponding to a market value of almost 72 billion lei. Since the beginning of the year, the return has reached approximately 29%, the fifth highest on the BET, nearly 10 percentage points above the index's performance.
After the company significantly increased its investment level (CAPEX) in 2025, reaching 781 million lei, Hidroelectrica aims to continue its ambitious investment plan in 2026, according to the 2026 Budget, which will be published at the end of April, coinciding with the EGM convocation for its approval.
Hidroelectrica și-a consolidat poziția de cel mai mare producător de energie electrică din România, 100% energie verde, cu o cotă de circa 27% pe ultimii cinci ani, și a devenit, într-un timp record (mai puțin de 4 ani), cel mai mare furnizor de electricitate din România, înregistrând la 31 decembrie 2025 o cotă de piață de 17,4% pe total piață și de 18,6% pe segmentul concurențial. Compania administrează un portofoliu de 188 de hidrocentrale, cu o putere instalată de peste 6,3 GW, precum și parcul eolian Crucea Nord, cu o capacitate instalată de 108 MW, unde va fi pusă în funcțiune, în mai-iunie 2026, și o baterie de stocare, cu o putere nominală de 36 MW și o capacitate de stocare de 72 MWh.
