The SFS Group is strengthening its market position with the accelerated expansion of its industrial trading division following the acquisition by Hoffmann SE of Gödde GmbH, Oltrogge Werkzeuge GmbH and Hch. Perschmann GmbH. The transactions, currently in the clearance process under merger control law, are scheduled to be completed by the end of March 2026. The three companies, based in Germany, generated combined sales to third parties of about €270 million in 2025 and employ about 450 people in the respective organizations, reports Construction Agenda.
Given that these entities already purchase products from Hoffmann, their integration will directly increase SFS Group's sales by around €130 million. The acquisitions complement the internationalization strategy started after the takeover of Hoffmann Group in 2022 and are supported by logistics synergies already implemented, including the integration of local warehouses into Hoffmann LogisticCity in Nuremberg, considered Europe's most efficient logistics hub for quality tooling.
Operational synergies and market relevance in Romania
Against a backdrop of high competitive pressure, accelerated digitalization and increasingly stringent demands from industrial customers, SFS is strengthening its market position by unifying competencies, optimizing the supply chain and reducing operational costs. The gradual integration of Gödde, Oltrogge and Perschmann into the Hoffmann SE structure will enable the expansion of the service offering and increase internal efficiency, while maintaining the continuity of existing management teams and locations.
For Romania, this consolidation is directly relevant in the context of the local construction and industrial manufacturing market, where the demand for professional tools, fast logistic solutions and constant product availability is increasing. Through Hoffmann and SFS's extensive European network, industrial customers in Romania benefit from improved access to integrated product and service portfolios tailored to today's standards of efficiency and productivity.
